Andrews & Robertson's Sixth sale of 2011

Written By Michael Atwood | 02 September 2011

Welcome to our September catalogue which kick starts the final quarter of 2011 with 123 lots of well priced properties for a collection of vendors offering buyers the chance to add value, stimulate attractive income streams, long term capital growth or simply the pleasure of purchasing for your own occupation.

Everyone looks forward to the final four months of the auction year, and the anticipation of a return to the market following the summer break is generally greeted with a surge in activity and enthusiasm. As the global markets remain highly volatile and stocks and shares continue to roller coaster, we anticipate that investor demand for keenly priced bricks and mortar will remain robust.

We are seeing strong prices and some selective buying from cash rich investors who know their micro markets well, pushing sums raised at our auctions so far this year to over £72m and an average success rate of 72%. We anticipate that these trends will continue going forward.

Our September catalogue incorporates a versatile mix of stock on behalf of vendors including: The London Boroughs of Southwark and Wandsworth, Affinity Sutton, Defence Estates, The Treasury Solicitors, LPA Receivers and of course private individuals.
