Andrews & Robertson ends its 2016 calendar of auctions on a high with a strong 77% December sale  

UK auctioneers Andrews & Robertson have raised in excess of £14.5m from their final auction of 2016 held at The Montcalm Hotel, Marble Arch, London, London, W1H, this week. This reflects a 77% success rate, with an average lot size of £260,000,

The highest value single lot sold was a freehold two floor detached house in West Hill, East Putney, offered on behalf of the London Borough of Wandsworth and with re-development potential. The lot sold under the hammer for £975,000

Other highlights of the sale included:

 

Lots 37 & 38 - 1 & 2 Oakwood Park Cottages, Winchmore Hill, N21
A pair of freehold two floor, three bedroom semi-detached houses sold on behalf of Enfield Council and offered with full vacant possession. With a combined guide price of £1.3m, the lots sold for £1,460,000.

Sold: £1,460,000

Lot 9 - 83 Salford Road,
Streatham Hill, SW2

Freehold four floor end of terrace building arranged as three self-contained flats (two flats let on regulated tenancies, one flat let on an assured shorthold tenancy). Guided at £820,000, the lot sold for £937,000.

Sold: £937,000

 

Lot 22 - 46 Camberwell Church Street, Camberwell, SE5
Freehold three floor terraced building arranged as a ground floor shop with a split level self-contained maisonette above. Guided at £620,000, the lot sold for £640,000.

Sold: £640,000

Lot 24 - 76a and 76b Avondale Rise, Peckham, SE15
Freehold double fronted semi-detached house arranged as two self-contained flats sold on behalf of Southwark Council. Guided at £600,000, the lot sold for £692,000.

Sold: £692,000

 

Significant sellers at the sale included Enfield Council, London Boroughs of Southwark & Wandsworth, Diocese of Southwark, Housing Associations, Property Companies, Receivers, and Individual Investors.
